International Exhibition on the Energy and Digital Transition
of the Building Heritage in the Mediterranean
Integration is the key word for Smart Building Levante 2026.
Thanks to its alliance with MIBA (Milan International Building Alliance), the Bari-based event — now in its fifth edition — takes a major step forward, bringing to the heart of the Mediterranean the horizontal approach successfully tested at the major Milan trade fair.
The goal is to provide a comprehensive and cross-sector representation of all the tools available to companies, designers, and technicians to carry out the energy and digital transition of the building heritage, with a constant focus on the specific needs of the Mediterranean regions.
Trade fair recognized as an event of international importance by the Puglia Region

Nasce MIBA Levante, a Bari un nuovo evento su case e città intelligenti
Fiera Milano is working on the organization of MIBA Levante in Bari, a spin-off of the major international event MIBA – Milan International Building Alliance, dedicated to technologies, materials, and solutions for the design, construction, and renovation of buildings and cities, as well as the ecological and digital transition of the built environment.
The announcement was made during the presentation of MIBA 2025, which will take place from November 19 to 21 next year at Fiera Milano (Rho).
Special event planned

New standards, new goals for the energy and digital transition of the building sector
The new APE, Smart Readiness Indicator, R2S are just some of the innovative standards that are reshaping building construction criteria and the real estate market, with the EPBD4 as the broader framework.
The workshop aims to highlight the ongoing changes and propose a new design and construction methodology.

Mediterranean
Data Center Expo Forum
The Puglia Region has positioned itself as a technological hub for the Eastern Mediterranean basin. In line with this strategy, it has defined guidelines to host sustainable data centers on its territory—key infrastructures for the technological and economic development of the region.
The expo forum, organized in collaboration with MedisDIH (Puglia’s Digital Innovation Hub) and the Polytechnic University of Bari, is the most important event in the sector in Southern Italy and an unmissable networking opportunity for industry operators and regional representatives.

Technicians for the Transition
The European Union has identified the reskilling of technical personnel as a strategic objective for member countries and an essential prerequisite for achieving decarbonization goals.
The SKEMA Project, led by an Italian partnership headed by ENAIP and including the Polytechnic University of Bari among its partners, represents Italy’s response to this priority. Funded by the European Community for the 2025–2028 period, the project will be presented in Bari, where one of the main events will take place to promote its objectives and recruit technicians.
